AGE Electrical Supervisor

About the role

The AGE Electrical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all electrical maintenance activities within the Aircraft Ground Equipment (AGE) bay. Reporting to the Mechanical Workshop Controller, the role ensures airworthiness through precise task delegation, authorisation, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed maintenance, inspection and supervision of electrical components in the AGE bay, following approved technical information.
• Resolve faults and manage configuration changes, including component removal, repair, modification, replacement and functional testing.
• Maintain personal and team task authorisation in line with regulatory (AMC, MOE) and licence requirements.
• Oversee electrical support tasks, tooling control, and oversight checks to ensure compliance.
• Generate ad‑hoc work cards for faults discovered during maintenance and report progress against delivery targets.
• Maintain a personal logbook, sign off on others' logbooks within skill boundaries, and, if approved, assess competency and authorise tasks.
• Provide guidance, leadership and performance reviews to develop team competence.

Required profile

• Experienced supervisor with a strong background in electrical maintenance of aircraft ground equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to apply diagnostic electronic techniques and manage configuration changes.
• Awareness of external dependencies and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Capability to delegate tasks, ensure staff competence and meet regulatory authorisation standards.
