AI Security Expert

About the role

Our client, a global technology consulting group, is looking for an AI Security Expert to join their team in Doha, Qatar. The role focuses on reviewing, assessing, and strengthening security controls for agent‑based AI, AI‑as‑a‑Service, and embedded AI solutions while establishing robust governance, threat modeling, and incident response capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Assess AI security controls for platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, ServiceNow AI, Snowflake AI, and other AI‑as‑a‑Service offerings.
• Conduct AI‑specific threat modeling exercises and develop related documentation.
• Create AI incident detection and response plans, including detailed security playbooks.
• Define and implement secure AI governance frameworks and responsible AI controls.
• Establish security requirements for AI datasets, hosting environments, and the full development‑to‑deployment lifecycle.
• Provide actionable security recommendations to improve AI implementations and governance.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, or security engineering.
• 1‑3 years of hands‑on experience securing AI‑enabled solutions.
• Familiarity with agent‑based AI, AI‑as‑a‑Service, and embedded AI platforms.
• Knowledge of AI threat modeling methodologies and secure AI architecture principles.
• Understanding of responsible AI practices and governance.
