Aircraft Mechanic – Heavy Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic specialized in Heavy Maintenance to join our team in Doha, Qatar. You will support operational and production requirements by delivering aircraft maintenance services that fully comply with QCAA/EASA regulations and company procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks according to approved manuals, engineering orders and regulatory requirements.
• Inspect and test aircraft systems, components and structures under engineer supervision.
• Adjust, align, calibrate and functionally test systems using approved tooling and measuring devices.
• Disassemble, inspect, repair, replace and re‑assemble mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, plumbing and structural components.
• Carry out general servicing such as lubrication, cleaning and brake inspections.
• Repair, modify and rebuild structures (wings, fuselage, rigging, hydraulic units) per approved drawings.
• Execute engine and system removals/installations with proper lifting equipment.
• Troubleshoot technical defects and implement authorized solutions.
• Complete maintenance documentation in line with company and regulatory standards.
• Support licensed engineers and supervisors to meet maintenance targets.

Required profile

• Relevant aircraft maintenance qualification or license.
• Experience in heavy‑maintenance environments.
• Familiarity with QCAA/EASA regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work under the supervision of engineers and follow approved procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM, TSM, IPC).
• Use of calibrated tooling, test equipment and measuring devices.
• Inspection and testing of aircraft systems and structures.
• Engine removal and installation techniques.
• Structural repair and modification skills.
• Troubleshooting and problem‑solving of technical defects.
• Accurate maintenance documentation and record‑keeping.
