Area Manager – Q-Commerce Dark Stores

About the role

We are looking for an energetic Area Manager to lead daily operations across three high‑volume dark stores. You will ensure flawless order execution, perfect stock accuracy, and rapid hand‑offs to delivery riders in a fast‑paced, tech‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor real‑time fulfillment metrics, keeping picking and packing times to a minimum.
• Optimize the physical hand‑off process to delivery riders to eliminate staging delays.
• Implement, audit, and sustain the 6S methodology (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety) across all locations.
• Maintain 99.9% inventory data accuracy and collaborate with supply‑chain teams to reduce out‑of‑stock items.
• Directly manage, motivate, and develop a workforce of approximately 100 staff, handling shift planning and labor optimization.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of multi‑site management experience in Q‑Commerce, e‑commerce fulfillment, or dark‑store operations.
• Proven ability to lead large distributed teams (50‑100+ employees).
• Comfortable using warehouse management systems, live tracking dashboards, and data‑driven operational tools.
• Highly organized, decisive under pressure, and an effective communicator.
