Assistant Manager - Engineering

About the role

Park Hyatt Doha is seeking an Assistant Manager – Engineering to support the Engineering Manager in maintaining the highest standards of facility and equipment management across the luxury hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance activities for all hotel facilities.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and internal standards.
• Coordinate with external contractors and service providers.
• Support sustainability and energy‑saving initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in engineering, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Relevant engineering or facility‑management certifications or diplomas (advantageous).
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Hands‑on problem‑solving approach.
