Barista

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Barista to join our hotel’s beverage service team. The role involves preparing high‑quality coffee and tea drinks, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages following established recipes and quality standards.
• Greet guests, take orders, and provide recommendations while handling cash and POS transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness of the coffee preparation area, regularly sanitising equipment and utensils.
• Monitor and replenish coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies, reporting inventory shortages as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other hotel team members to ensure smooth service.
• Adhere to hotel policies, hygiene standards, and health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years experience in hotel operations or a similar hospitality environment.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in operating the hotel’s point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
• Accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Ability to monitor stock levels and manage inventory of beverage supplies.
