Business Development & Growth Operations Specialist

About the role

The Business Development & Growth Operations Specialist supports BSL’s expansion by managing bid processes, maintaining CRM data, and delivering growth reports. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the role combines operational oversight with direct customer engagement across HR outsourcing, training and procurement services.

Key responsibilities

• Govern and maintain the Growth CRM, ensuring accurate opportunity, contact and pipeline data.
• Coordinate bid/no‑bid decisions, prepare proposal packages and ensure timely, compliant submissions.
• Produce regular and ad‑hoc growth reports, forecast pipeline and support strategic planning.
• Engage with existing and prospective clients to identify new business opportunities and support solution development.
• Conduct market and competitor research to inform bid strategy and business development decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or a related field.
• Experience in business development, sales operations or bid management, preferably in B2B professional services.
• Strong analytical, communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
