Director of Sales and Marketing

About the role

The Director of Sales and Marketing leads all revenue‑generating activities for Rosewood Doha, overseeing sales, yield management, distribution and brand communication to maximise hotel performance. Reporting to senior management, the role ensures the brand’s standards and visual identity are consistently applied across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual business plan, setting sales targets for each market segment and driving revenue objectives.
• Lead the creation and approval of marketing and advertising programmes, ensuring alignment with the Rosewood brand guidelines.
• Oversee travel planning for the sales team to optimise market coverage and revenue potential.
• Collaborate with revenue‑management and distribution teams to forecast performance and adjust strategies.
• Manage the sales and marketing budget, monitoring spend effectiveness and ROI.
• Coordinate cross‑selling initiatives with sister hotels, corporate sales, and F&B promotions.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in hotel sales, marketing and revenue management.
• Strong understanding of channel and distribution management tools.
• Ability to lead recruitment, talent development and maintain brand integrity as a brand ambassador.
• Excellent collaboration with other department heads and senior management.
