Cake Decorator

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Cake Decorator to join our fast‑growing production team. In this hands‑on position you will bring customized cake designs to life while supporting baking operations and ensuring every order meets our high standards of quality, presentation, and freshness.

Key responsibilities

• Perform piping, drawing, finishing and other decorating tasks on assigned cakes.
• Support senior decorators on complex or high‑volume orders as needed.
• Assist with baking‑line activities such as mixing, portioning, baking and other production tasks.
• Follow standard recipes, decorating guidelines and production processes consistently.
• Switch between decorating and baking sections based on production volume and operational requirements.
• Maintain consistent techniques across orders and ensure food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards are met.
• Monitor ingredient levels and report shortages or issues to the section lead.
• Collaborate with the wider production team to meet order deadlines and keep the work area clean and organized.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in cake decorating, baking, pastry or a similar production environment.
• Hands‑on experience with piping, drawing and finishing techniques.
• Solid baking experience including mixing, portioning and baking.
• Ability to move between decorating and baking tasks based on production needs.
• Strong attention to detail and reliable technique.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• Good teamwork, communication and flexibility.
