About the role

Join Qatar Airways Cargo in Doha as a Cargo Inventory Management Manager, leading the optimisation of cargo capacity across passenger and freighter flights. You will shape revenue management strategies, drive network‑wide performance, and lead a dedicated team of specialists and analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Optimise revenue by managing cargo capacity for the airline’s network.
• Develop and implement revenue management strategies for the assigned region.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of Cargo Inventory Management Specialists and Analysts.
• Apply a network‑based approach to maximise margin rather than individual flight legs.
• Monitor economic performance of flights, analyse flow and trend data, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Organise performance reviews with stakeholders to discuss route economics and address constraints.
• Define inventory controls, coordinate allotment and free‑sales capacity, and set over‑booking levels based on demand trends.
• Track the commercial impact of strategies through reporting and feedback, adjusting tactics in real time.
• Participate as a subject‑matter expert in projects, reporting to the Cargo Inventory Management Lead.
• Continuously evaluate departmental objectives, procedures, and practices, implementing changes as needed.
