Complex IT Specialist

About the role

The Complex IT Specialist is responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining and repairing computer networks and related hardware and software across the property. The role also includes providing end‑user support, training, and ensuring network security and data backup compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, test and evaluate computer networks, workstations and server systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, LAN, WAN and internet connectivity issues.
• Provide user training on system usage and security best practices.
• Plan, coordinate and implement network security measures and backup procedures.
• Manage disk space, maintain accurate inventory of technological devices and ensure backup tapes are stored securely.
• Serve as the first point of contact for technical support and liaise with vendors for major issues.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant IT experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb and work on stairs or ramps.
