Complex Receiving Clerk

About the role

The Complex Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving, staging, and distributing merchandise across departments at a Le Méridien property in Lusail, Qatar. This full‑time, non‑management position ensures that inventory is accurately recorded, stored safely, and made available to the right teams.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and stage merchandise by department, marking items for proper placement.
• Stack received goods on pallets or carts and deliver them to the appropriate areas.
• Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies, and notify supervisors of low stock levels.
• Inspect deliveries for freshness, cleanliness, and quality; reject damaged or incorrect items.
• Store perishables correctly, rotate stock, and maintain food‑safety standards.
• Organize, clean, and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, floors, equipment, and drains.
• Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash, placing them in designated storage areas.
• Report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions and complete required safety training.
• Follow all company policies, maintain a professional appearance, and protect confidential information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
• Capability to lift, carry, push, pull, or place objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Good hand‑eye coordination and fine‑motor skills.
• Willingness to work in narrow, confined, or elevated spaces and on uneven surfaces.
