Compliance Officer

About the role

We are looking for a qualified, detail‑oriented Compliance Officer to strengthen our compliance, governance and risk‑management framework. The role ensures that assistance applications and beneficiary records meet all approved policies, procedures and regulatory requirements while promoting transparency and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Review assistance applications and beneficiary files for compliance with policies, procedures and eligibility criteria.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of beneficiary information and supporting documentation.
• Identify duplication, fraud, misrepresentation or any irregularities that could affect assistance decisions.
• Assess compliance throughout the service‑delivery process and monitor control weaknesses.
• Report violations, recommend corrective actions and prepare periodic compliance reports.
• Contribute to the improvement of internal controls, governance practices and operational efficiency.
• Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality, professionalism, independence and objectivity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Auditing, Governance, Risk & Compliance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• 3‑5 years of direct experience in compliance or institutional compliance functions.
• Strong understanding of compliance, governance and risk‑management principles.
• Excellent analytical, investigative and report‑writing abilities.
• High integrity, independence and professional objectivity.
• Fluent in both Arabic and English, written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using information‑management systems.
