Construction Director – Infrastructure

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Construction Director to lead a portfolio of 17 major infrastructure projects in Doha, Qatar. You will be responsible for delivering roads, utilities, drainage, landscaping and pump stations to a demanding client while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, direct and control technical, commercial, financial and administrative aspects across multiple concurrent projects.
• Develop and implement Project Execution Plans, Health & Safety Plans and QA/QC procedures.
• Lead commercial and contractual negotiations, manage scope variations and oversee change orders.
• Maintain primary client contact, ensuring expectations are met and risks are mitigated.
• Oversee site operations including labor coordination, procurement, logistics and commercial controls.
• Monitor progress against milestones and KPIs, providing regular performance reporting.
• Support business development and mentor senior team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical/business discipline.
• Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in large‑scale infrastructure construction.
• At least 3 years of work experience in Qatar.
• Proven senior leadership experience in construction management.
