Fresh Graduate Civil Engineer – Material Testing (QA/QC)

About the role

We are seeking a fresh graduate civil engineer to support our ISO/IEC 17025 accredited material testing laboratory in Qatar. The role focuses on quality assurance and control of construction material tests.

Key responsibilities

• Assist material engineers and lab technicians in testing concrete, soil, aggregate, asphalt, and steel.
• Ensure testing procedures comply with ISO/IEC 17025, ASTM, BS, and Qatar Construction Specifications.
• Record test data accurately, maintain sample logs, and help prepare certified technical reports.
• Maintain calibration records for laboratory equipment and support daily QA/QC operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Fresh graduate or 0‑1 years of internship experience in a construction materials testing lab.
• Familiarity with international standards such as ASTM, BS EN, and ISO.
• Strong English communication skills; Arabic is a plus.
• Locally available in Qatar with a valid Qatari ID or transferable residency.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ASTM, BS EN, and ISO 17025 standards.
• Experience with material testing procedures for concrete, soil, asphalt, and steel.
• Ability to maintain laboratory equipment calibration records.
