Contract Lead – Post‑Award EPCC Management

About the role

Lead the hands‑on post‑award contract management activities for a multibillion‑dollar EPCC contract on a Mega LNG capital project. The role ensures safe, on‑time, on‑budget delivery while navigating complex contractual situations in a multicultural, high‑pressure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee a large volume of critical contracts and drive implementation of best‑in‑class contract and project execution standards.
• Manage contractual correspondence, changes, and value‑protection actions in line with approved processes.
• Identify contractual risks, propose mitigation strategies, and prepare regular commercial performance reports for project leadership.
• Coordinate with the Performance & Delivery Claims team to manage claims and disputes according to company governance.
• Maintain effective relationships with the Project Management Team, functional managers, Legal and Risk Management to exchange contract‑related information.
• Prepare contract evaluations and lead end‑of‑contract close‑outs following company procedures.
• Negotiate with multiple parties to protect company interests and ensure optimal value for shareholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years in the Oil & Gas industry and 1 year in a supervisory or oversight role.
• Proven experience in lump‑sum major energy projects (post‑award) and strong understanding of EPCC contracts.
• Ability to work under significant time pressure and manage large‑scale capital expenditures.
