Cost Controller – Finance & Accounting

About the role

The Cost Controller will support the property’s finance function by implementing strategies that deliver products and services aligned with brand objectives. This role provides financial expertise to help execute brand initiatives while maximizing return on investment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and market trends to support strategic planning and decision‑making.
• Prepare and monitor annual budget plans, compare actual sales and expenses against forecasts.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability, including cost‑benefit analysis and new business initiatives.
• Lead and communicate with accounting teams, ensuring clear goals and accountability.
• Maintain accurate profit and loss reporting, support audit processes, and ensure compliance with SOPs and tax regulations.
• Generate timely financial reports and presentations for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (4‑year program).
• No prior work experience required; suitable for recent graduates.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to think creatively and practically.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Financial analysis and budgeting.
• Understanding of profit and loss statements and audit procedures.
• Knowledge of tax compliance and standard operating procedures.
