About the role
Al FARAH CONTRACTING is seeking a qualified Crane Operator for an initial three‑month, full‑time assignment at Al Ruwais Port in Qatar, with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will operate a SANY rough‑terrain crane with a 65‑ton lifting capacity and must adhere strictly to the port’s safety protocols and procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Operate the SANY rough‑terrain crane safely, handling loads up to 65 tons in a busy port environment.
- Follow and enforce all port safety regulations, conducting pre‑operation checks and reporting any hazards.
Required profile
- Valid crane operator licence issued in Qatar.
- 1–3 years of experience operating port cranes, preferably SANY models.
- Demonstrated ability to handle cranes with up to 65‑ton lifting capacity.
- Good knowledge of port safety protocols and procedures.
- Immediate availability to join the team.
- Willingness to work 10 hours per day, six days a week.
