Cyber Defense Principal Analyst

About the role

As a Security Consultant within Mandiant, part of Google Cloud, you will help clients prepare for, mitigate, detect, and respond to cyber‑security threats. You will apply deep knowledge of operating systems, networking, cloud services, and corporate environments to protect customers against advanced attacks.

Key responsibilities

• Identify issues in customer Cyber Defense Centers and design improvement strategies.
• Plan, execute, or oversee the implementation of security enhancements.
• Advise on Cyber Defense Center, CSIRT, and SOC management, including technical solutions.
• Research and leverage cyber‑intelligence sources to stay ahead of attackers.
• Assist clients during complex incidents, perform forensic analysis, threat hunting, and malware triage.
• Test client networks, applications, and devices using the latest attack techniques.
• Act as a technical advocate for information‑security requirements and present findings to executive and technical stakeholders.
• Lead cross‑functional engagements and coordinate with multiple teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, CISSP, GIAC (GSEC, GCIH, etc.), CCNA, CEH, LPT.
• At least 8 years of experience designing and assessing cybersecurity solutions across multiple domains.
• Proven experience leading incident‑response activities and communicating status to executive stakeholders.
• Preferred experience developing executive client relationships and fluency in Arabic.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
