About the role
The Data Governance & Quality Lead will be responsible for establishing and maintaining robust data ownership, accountability, and quality frameworks that support reliable decision‑making and AI initiatives across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Define and enforce data ownership and accountability models, ensuring every KPI and AI feature has a designated data owner.
- Act as the final authority for data used in Observatory decisions, providing guidance on data suitability and integrity.
- Govern data maturity for decision confidence, assessing stability, consistency, and historical integrity of data supporting KPI interpretation.
- Communicate data confidence levels and limitations to decision‑makers.
- Oversee data governance for AI, evaluating risks such as bias, leakage, and feature instability, and supporting AI accreditation decisions.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as DAMA, CDMP, or equivalent are preferred.
