Design Manager – Lead Architecture & Interior Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead our multidisciplinary design team and oversee the delivery of residential, commercial, hospitality, fit‑out, kitchen, wardrobe and interior projects for Nabina Group in Doha, Qatar. The role combines strategic design leadership with hands‑on project management to ensure innovative, high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage architects, interior designers and technical staff, reviewing and approving design concepts, drawings and deliverables.
• Establish and enforce design standards, driving innovation and creative excellence across all projects.
• Oversee projects from concept through construction documentation and site execution, developing schedules and monitoring progress.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal departments to meet project objectives, budgets and timelines.
• Review architectural and interior drawings, specifications and material selections, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
• Resolve design and technical challenges, monitor design quality and ensure accurate documentation.
• Attend client meetings, conduct site visits, review shop drawings, material submissions and mock‑ups to guarantee implementation aligns with approved design intent.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in architecture or interior design, with at least 2 years in a Design Manager or Senior Design Lead role.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary design teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
• Currently based in Qatar with a valid Qatar driving licence; NOC for transfer preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and presentation skills.
