Digital Marketing & Creative Intern

About the role

We are looking for a Digital Marketing & Creative Intern to join our team in Doha. The intern will help shape SurfX’s visual identity and online presence through design, content creation, and social media management.

Key responsibilities

• Design graphics and visual assets for social media, website, and promotional materials.
• Shoot and edit short‑form video content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) showcasing SurfX experiences.
• Record video and capture photography on location at events, activities, and partner venues.
• Manage social media channels, maintain content calendars, and engage with online communities.
• Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across social platforms.
• Analyze performance metrics to optimise campaigns and creative output.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, Media or a related field.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Creative mindset with a passion for lifestyle, travel or culture (preferred but not required).

Required skills

• Proficiency with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator or Canva.
• Experience using video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or CapCut.
• Hands‑on experience in video recording and photography.
• Knowledge of social media marketing, online marketing and content strategy.
• Familiarity with Notion (preferred).
