Electrical Technician

About the role

The Electrical Technician is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment, supporting the team, and contributing to departmental improvement initiatives. The role includes reporting faults to engineers and ensuring equipment performance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PPM) tasks accurately and on time.
• Carry out corrective maintenance and repairs promptly.
• Assist subcontractors and report defects, breakdowns, and damages to the Fault Reporting Center or designated engineers.
• Manage spare part requirements, tool care, and follow duty rosters and instructions from supervisors.

Required profile

• ITI Certificate/Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards such as OSHA, MSDS, NFPA, and BS.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, solve problems, and collaborate within a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems.
• Familiarity with safety regulations (OSHA, MSDS, NFPA, BS).
