Estimation Engineer (Mechanical) – Proposals

About the role

The Estimation Engineer (Mechanical) – Proposals will lead the preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates for mechanical and piping works across a range of oil & gas projects. Based in Doha, the role supports EPC/EPCI/EPIC tender submissions for both offshore and onshore initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost estimates for mechanical and piping scopes on offshore, onshore greenfield, and onshore brownfield projects.
• Analyse tender specifications and align estimates with project requirements.
• Assess resource requirements, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to ensure realistic budgeting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to gather data and validate assumptions.
• Prepare and present competitive proposals for EPC/EPCI/EPIC contracts.

Required profile

• 15+ years of total experience in the oil & gas industry.
• 7–10 years of hands‑on experience in proposal preparation and cost estimation.
• Strong background in brownfield projects; offshore experience is an advantage.
• Proven track record with EPC/EPCI/EPIC tenders and proposals.
