Events & Exhibitions Manager

About the role

The Events & Exhibitions Manager will lead the planning, execution, and growth of our events, exhibitions, conferences and activation business. This senior position combines event management, business development and operational leadership to deliver successful events while driving revenue and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the division’s business strategy, growth plans and annual objectives.
• Identify, acquire and manage new clients, exhibition projects, conferences and corporate contracts.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, government entities, event organizers, sponsors and strategic partners.
• Lead end‑to‑end event planning, budgeting, execution and delivery from concept to completion.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, presentations, quotations and tender submissions.
• Oversee event operations, logistics, suppliers, contractors and project teams.
• Monitor project budgets, timelines, quality standards and customer satisfaction.
• Report performance, opportunities and strategic initiatives to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in events, exhibitions, conferences or activations.
• 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Proven track record in business development, client acquisition and revenue generation.
• Strong network with corporate clients, government entities and industry stakeholders.
• Fluency in English and Arabic; GCC market experience preferred.
• Valid Qatar driving licence preferred.
