Exercise Physiologist – Diagnostic Suite Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Exercise / Sports Physiologist to lead our diagnostic suite in Doha, Qatar. You will operate advanced metabolic and biomechanical testing equipment, interpret results, and create evidence‑based exercise programs for patients.

Key responsibilities

• Administer VO2 Max and Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) tests using the KORR Cardio Coach PRO metabolic cart with treadmills and ergometers.
• Identify ventilatory thresholds (VT1/VT2) and FatMax zones to guide training intensity.
• Interpret GE Lunar DXA scans, focusing on lean‑mass symmetry, visceral adipose tissue index, and bone mineral density.
• Conduct 3‑D skeletal tracking and range‑of‑motion analysis with Kinotek LiDAR technology.
• Perform peak isometric strength assessments using Activforce 2 digital dynamometers.
• Design individualized, evidence‑based exercise prescriptions and ensure proper calibration and maintenance of all diagnostic hardware.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology, Sports Physiology, or Human Movement Science.
• Professional certification such as ACSM‑RCEP, ACSM‑CEP, ESSA‑AEP, or equivalent.
• Deep knowledge of indirect calorimetry, graded exercise testing (GXT), and substrate utilization (RER).
