F&B Service Expert – Barista

About the role

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company LLC in Doha is seeking a dedicated F&B Service Expert to work as a Barista. The role involves delivering high‑quality coffee and beverage service while upholding the brand’s Gold Standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the area.
• Operate the cash register system and MICROS point‑of‑sale system to take orders and process payments.
• Prepare coffee and other beverage orders using professional coffee makers.
• Maintain clean and stocked work areas, bus coffee cart and tables, and ensure equipment is turned on/off as needed.
• Handle cash, perform end‑of‑shift bank counts, complete cashier reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide courteous guest service, greet guests, address service needs and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Follow safety, security and uniform policies, report incidents and complete required training.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lb, and moving in confined spaces.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior work experience required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move objects up to 25 lb.
