Field Operations Lead

About the role

The Field Operations Lead is responsible for ensuring HSE is the top priority across onshore and offshore projects while supporting the execution of the Project HSEQ management system. This senior position coordinates with project teams, contractors, and commissioning managers to deliver safe, efficient field operations.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce HSEQ policies, charters, objectives, directives, plans, procedures, and specifications.
• Promote HSEQ awareness through site tours, meetings, incentives, and training.
• Monitor work activities, conduct Job Safety Analyses, and ensure risks are identified and mitigated before execution.
• Support updates of operating philosophies, manuals, and procedures during FEED, basic engineering, and EPCIC phases.
• Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, PR, JRA, and other risk assessments for installation and construction.
• Collaborate with commissioning teams to facilitate offshore execution and equipment FAT.
• Lead site operations during installation, commissioning, and hand‑over phases, providing feedback and lessons learned.
• Identify training needs and develop programs for field‑operations stakeholders.

Required profile

• BSc in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of field experience in production operations and project roles, preferably in Al Shaheen Field.
• Strong knowledge of production, process, and flow‑assurance engineering.
• Familiarity with client standards, MANASA, and relevant codes.
• Fluent English, computer literate, and able to work in multicultural environments.
• Willingness to travel frequently to vendor sites.
• Valid H2S OPITO and T‑BOSIET certifications.
