About the role
The Food & Beverage Supervisor ensures that staff work together to deliver optimal service and meet guest needs in a hotel restaurant environment.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure staff teamwork, inspect grooming and attire, and address any deficiencies.
- Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the venue.
- Inspect storage areas for organization, FIFO usage, and cleanliness; manage inventories and requisition supplies.
- Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest wellbeing.
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching employees.
- Follow company safety policies, report incidents, and maintain required certifications.
- Uphold uniform standards, protect confidential information, and safeguard company assets.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of related work experience.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
