FTP Control Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Manager – FTP Control to lead the end‑to‑end Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) framework for a leading regional bank in Doha. The role sits at the intersection of Treasury, Finance and Risk, providing critical pricing discipline and profitability analysis for ALCO decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the full FTP process, ensuring compliance with the bank’s FTP policy and governance.
• Act as business owner of the FTP system – configure the system, construct curves, map products and maintain parameters.
• Coordinate with IT, vendors and external consultants to implement system enhancements and guarantee data integrity.
• Run the monthly FTP production cycle, delivering timely, accurate results with robust reconciliations and controls.
• Provide FTP insights and analysis to ALCO, Finance, Treasury, Risk and business teams to support pricing and balance‑sheet decisions.
• Partner with business units to explain FTP impacts on product and customer profitability.
• Serve as the primary contact for Internal Audit, External Audit and regulators on all FTP‑related matters.
• Periodically review and recommend enhancements to the FTP methodology in line with balance‑sheet changes, market conditions and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• 5–6 years of banking experience with strong exposure to Funds Transfer Pricing, ALM, Treasury or Balance‑Sheet Management.
• Hands‑on experience with FTP systems and methodologies, including system configuration, curve construction and product mapping.
• Solid understanding of interest‑rate risk, liquidity risk and funding economics.
• Experience interacting with ALCO, internal/external audit teams and regulators on FTP matters.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
• Highly analytical, detail‑oriented and comfortable operating with a high degree of ownership.
• Open to international candidates and willing to relocate to Doha, Qatar.
