Gardener

About the role

The Gardener will ensure that the property’s outdoor areas remain attractive, safe, and well‑maintained. Working on the Marriott site in Doha, you will be responsible for the upkeep of lawns, gardens, fountains, and related features.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the appearance of grounds, fountains, planters, and other landscape features.
• Install, replace, and repair flowers, bulbs, grass, trees, and shrubs.
• Water, weed, trim, and care for flower beds, baskets, and boxes.
• Trim, prune, and edge grass and vegetation in hard‑to‑reach areas.
• Operate and maintain irrigation systems.
• Collect and bag trash from exterior containers.
• Operate dump trucks, tractors, utility vehicles, and other equipment to transport supplies and debris.
• Clean, refuel, and perform routine checks on all equipment after use.
• Follow company safety policies, report hazards, and maintain a professional appearance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of related landscaping or grounds‑keeping experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• No supervisory experience required.

Required skills

• Operation of dump trucks, tractors, and utility vehicles.
• Installation, maintenance, and operation of irrigation systems.
• Lawn mowing, edging, and general grounds‑maintenance equipment use.
