Generator Electrical Technician – Repair & Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Generator Electrical Technician to join our team in Qatar. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining diesel generator systems, including their controllers and synchronization panels.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and control faults in various generator types.
• Program, configure and commission generator controllers such as Deepsea and ComAp.
• Handle wiring, configuration, testing and commissioning of synchronization panels.
• Integrate generator control systems with fire alarm panels to meet Civil Defense requirements.
• Support Civil Defense inspections related to generator installations.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance including oil and filter replacement, monthly inspections and basic servicing.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in generator repair and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of generator control systems, synchronization and troubleshooting.
• Valid Qatar driving license (preferred) and a valid NOC or transferable visa.
• Currently residing in Qatar is preferred.
