About the role
The Ritz‑Carlton in Doha is seeking a dedicated Gourmet Coffee Barista to join its Food & Beverage team. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality coffee beverages and exceptional guest service in a luxury hotel environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the area.
- Take guest orders, enter them into the MICROS system, and prepare coffee and food items.
- Handle cash transactions, count the register at shift end, and complete cashier reports.
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee cart, tables, dishes, and work areas throughout the shift.
- Follow all safety, security, and uniform standards while providing courteous service to all guests.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No prior barista or related work experience required.
Required skills
- Cash register system operation.
- MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
- Operation of coffee makers and related equipment.
