About the role
The Head of Commissioning is responsible and accountable for day‑to‑day pre‑commissioning, commissioning and start‑up activities of field projects. The role ensures all work complies with approved scope, QATARENERGY guidelines, engineering design, safety and environmental standards.
Key responsibilities
- Lead pre‑commissioning, commissioning and start‑up activities to guarantee execution according to the approved Scope of Work, engineering design, safety and environmental specifications.
- Provide guidance and advice to contractors on all related activities, ensuring adherence to approved method statements, project schedule, quality and material requirements.
Required profile
- Minimum 15 years of experience in design, construction, commissioning and start‑up of oil & gas processing plants (preferably offshore) with at least eight years as a Commissioning Coordinator/Team Leader.
- B.Sc. in an Engineering discipline.
