About the role

The Ned Doha, housed in Doha’s iconic former Ministry of Interior building, is seeking a passionate Head Waiter/Waitress to lead its restaurant team. You will set the standard for service excellence, inspire staff, and ensure every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the restaurant team to deliver exceptional guest experiences daily.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, maintaining the highest service standards.
• Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.
• Coach and mentor team members, ensuring consistency and excellence.
• Provide thoughtful food and beverage recommendations based on strong product knowledge.
• Handle guest requests and resolve concerns efficiently and courteously.
• Collaborate closely with management and culinary teams for seamless service.
• Maintain impeccable presentation, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Head Waiter or Senior Waiter in a luxury hotel or high‑end restaurant.
• Natural leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest service and creating memorable dining experiences.
• Strong knowledge of food, beverages, and restaurant operations.
• Ability to stay calm, organized, and attentive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Positive, team‑focused attitude with a commitment to excellence.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
