Health Club Receptionist

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Health Club Receptionist to be the first point of contact for members and guests at our luxury resort. The role combines front‑desk duties, customer service and basic administrative tasks to ensure a welcoming and well‑organized environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members and guests upon arrival, providing information about facilities, programs and services.
• Answer phone calls, emails and other inquiries, addressing complaints and issues promptly and courteously.
• Schedule appointments, manage bookings for classes, personal training sessions and other club services.
• Process membership applications, renewals and cancellations, and maintain up‑to‑date member records in the club’s database.
• Keep the reception area clean, organized and presentable at all times.
• Monitor inventory of office supplies, brochures and promotional materials.
• Control access to the club, ensuring only authorized individuals enter and enforce club policies.
• Assist in emergencies and support evacuation procedures when required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer‑service or receptionist role, preferably within a health club or fitness centre.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure and handle stressful situations efficiently.
• Friendly, outgoing and professional demeanor.
• Basic knowledge of health and fitness is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with member‑management software.
