HR Generalist – Middle East & Africa (MEA)

About the role

IRISS is seeking a proactive, organized HR Generalist to support its growing operations across the Middle East & Africa region. The role will partner with regional managers and employees to ensure smooth HR operations, a strong employee experience, and consistent policy application across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day HR operations and employee administration for the MEA region.
• Oversee the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, probation, performance management, transfers, promotions, and off‑boarding.
• Coordinate recruitment for corporate, commercial, engineering, technical and support positions, including sourcing, screening and interview scheduling.
• Maintain accurate employment documentation, employee records and HR files.
• Support payroll coordination, leave administration, employee benefits and medical insurance programs.
• Ensure HR systems and employee data are up‑to‑date.
• Facilitate employee onboarding and induction to deliver a consistent new‑hire experience.
• Assist with performance reviews, employee development activities and training coordination.
• Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and internal HR communications.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience across core HR functions in a fast‑paced, international environment.
• People‑focused, proactive and highly organized.
• Experience supporting regional teams in industrial, engineering, manufacturing or technology sectors is an advantage.
• Ability to work closely with managers and employees across multiple countries.
