HSE Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager to lead the development and implementation of our HSE Management System for construction projects in Qatar. The role will ensure compliance with local legislation, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards, and support safe delivery of multidisciplinary engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain HSE processes and procedures for safe construction site operations.
• Perform all HSE duties in line with the company’s HSE management system and codes.
• Deliver training and technical presentations to staff and clients.
• Monitor safety inspections, report daily, weekly and monthly on safety issues.
• Train team members on HSE codes and best practices.
• Conduct risk analysis, job hazard and job safety analyses.
• Investigate accidents/incidents and prepare reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• NEBOSH qualification (Diploma or International General Certificate).
• Minimum 15 years of construction HSE experience.
• At least 5 years working in the Middle East, preferably in construction consultancy.
• Proven auditor with knowledge of ISO 18001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
