Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead the HR function for a luxury hotel operating in Qatar, ensuring that HR practices align with the brand’s People Philosophy and local regulations. This role combines strategic oversight of HR operations with day‑to‑day administration, supporting a high‑performing workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily HR activities, ensuring efficient service delivery across recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, and learning & development.
• Implement and monitor HR policies, procedures, and standards in line with corporate strategy and Qatar Labour Law.
• Maintain employee facilities, welfare services, and related programmes to meet hotel and brand standards.
• Provide HR guidance to department heads, promote positive employee relations, and act as a visible presence throughout the hotel.
• Drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement, well‑being, retention, and workplace culture.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency and employee experience.
• Ensure accurate, confidential, and up‑to‑date employee records, contracts, and HRIS data.
• Prepare and submit required HR reports, forms, and compliance documentation.

Required profile

• University degree or diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Previous HR experience within an international luxury hotel brand and in Qatar, with strong knowledge of Qatar Labour Law and local employment regulations.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Professionalism in handling confidential matters.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
