Hygiene Officer

About the role

The Ned Doha is seeking a dedicated Hygiene Officer to safeguard the highest standards of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety across its luxury hotel operations. You will work closely with all departments to ensure compliance with local regulations and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain food safety and hygiene standards throughout the property.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits, ensuring HACCP compliance.
• Support continuous improvement of hygiene management systems.
• Deliver training on hygiene and food safety to staff.
• Oversee cleaning schedules and sanitation procedures.
• Investigate incidents, implement corrective actions, and maintain accurate records.
• Assist during internal and external audits and inspections.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Hygiene Officer, Food Safety Officer, or similar role in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety regulations, and hygiene management systems.
• Relevant food safety and hygiene certifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving.
• Effective communication and training abilities.
• Ability to build positive relationships across departments.
