In-Store Visual Merchandiser

About the role

The In‑Store Visual Merchandiser is responsible for developing, delivering and communicating visual concepts that promote the brand, products and services within the store environment. The role includes training and coaching the store team, managing daily, weekly and seasonal visual presentation tasks, and ensuring brand standards are consistently applied.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure brand identity and presentation standards are achieved in windows and in‑store displays, creating eye‑catching layouts that incorporate commercial sales opportunities.
• Implement brand‑specific visual merchandising standards and coordinate store displays in line with brand guidelines and strategy.
• Develop floor plans, maximize visual impact, and arrange merchandise, signage, fixtures and in‑store layout.
• Create and maintain photographic records of all changes to merchandise displays.
• Utilize creative lighting for window displays and optimize placement of new product lines.
• Re‑merchandise the store to reflect new trends and build category‑based layouts.
• Collect feedback on merchandise presentation and work closely with operations and brand management to drive sales.
• Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising Manager and sales team to achieve commercial goals.
• Participate in pre‑opening activities to ensure brand standards are correctly implemented.
• Conduct research on current market trends and lifestyle influences.

Required profile

• Proven experience in visual merchandising within a retail environment.
• Strong understanding of brand identity, visual standards and commercial merchandising.
• Ability to develop floor plans and create impactful visual displays.
• Experience in photographing and documenting visual changes.
• Capability to train and coach store teams on visual presentation tasks.
• Collaborative mindset to work with operations, brand management and sales teams.
• Proactive research skills to stay informed on market trends and lifestyle shifts.
