Information Technology Operations Manager

About the role

The Information Technology Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all IT functions, services, and initiatives to ensure technology delivery aligns with organisational objectives. This senior role leads service management, infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and related operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee assigned IT functions, services, projects, and operational activities.
• Develop and implement IT strategies, processes, and service improvements.
• Lead IT teams and coordinate internal and external resources.
• Ensure IT service delivery meets performance, availability, and efficiency targets.
• Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and overall service performance.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, vendors, and technology partners.
• Maintain compliance with policies, standards, and regulations.
• Support budgeting, resource planning, and technology planning.
• Provide management reporting, recommendations, and technical advice.

Required profile

• 12+ years of relevant technical/IT experience.
• 7+ years of management experience.
• Proven experience managing IT functions, teams, services, or complex technology environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or related field; Master’s degree or equivalent depth of knowledge is a plus.
