About the role
The Inside Sales Executive (Outbound) will proactively contact potential customers, understand their needs, and present suitable products or services. This role focuses on generating new business through phone outreach and converting leads into sales.
Key responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to prospects and leads from provided databases or marketing campaigns.
- Qualify leads, pitch relevant products or services, and overcome objections.
- Convert cold or warm leads into sales or schedule follow‑up appointments.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, interactions, and outcomes in the CRM system.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Follow up with prospects via phone, email, or messaging to nurture interest and close deals.
- Provide excellent customer service during and after the sales process to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Stay updated on product offerings, market trends, and competitor activities.
Required profile
- High school certificate or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of experience in outbound calling or inside sales.
- Experience in B2C or B2B telesales, preferably in telecom, education, finance, SaaS, or insurance.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with CRM tools.
