Internal Audit Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Internal Audit Manager to lead our audit function, strengthen governance and support risk‑based decision making across the business. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, execution and reporting of audits while driving continuous improvement of controls and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage the annual internal audit plan based on risk assessments and business priorities.
• Conduct financial, operational, compliance and process audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management practices.
• Review company policies, procedures and operations to identify control gaps and recommend improvements.
• Prepare audit reports, present findings to senior management and monitor corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies and corporate governance requirements.
• Lead, mentor and support audit team members, promoting best practices in internal auditing.
• Coordinate with external auditors, regulatory bodies and management on audit‑related matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in internal auditing, risk management, compliance or finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of internal audit methodologies, risk assessment, internal controls, corporate governance and regulatory compliance.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with audit management or reporting tools.
