International Sales & Marketing Manager

About the role

We are seeking an International Sales & Marketing Manager to lead our Qatar operations for SANY’s truck, construction, road and port machinery lines. The role is based in Qatar and requires deep knowledge of the local market and an established B2B network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with key customers such as contractors, construction firms, equipment rental companies, logistics providers and port operators.
• Identify new business opportunities and manage the full B2B sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure and payment follow‑up.
• Maintain strong ties with existing customers, distributors and business partners.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and upcoming projects to generate sales leads.
• Design and execute localized sales and marketing strategies to boost market penetration and brand visibility.
• Represent SANY at industry exhibitions, business events and customer meetings.
• Coordinate with internal teams on product selection, customized solutions, order processing, delivery and after‑sales support.
• Prepare regular market intelligence and sales reports to inform business strategy.
• Support and participate in tenders, bids and major project opportunities within Qatar.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of sales and marketing experience in the Qatar market, preferably in construction machinery, heavy equipment, commercial trucks, road or port equipment.
• Strong understanding of Qatar’s B2B landscape, local business practices and customer requirements.
• Proven track record in end‑to‑end B2B sales, business development, channel development and project sales.
• Existing relationships with local customers, distributors, contractors or equipment rental firms are a strong advantage.
• Experience with machinery or commercial vehicle tenders/bids is highly preferred.
• Excellent business English (written and spoken); Arabic is a plus.
• Proactive, commercially driven and target‑oriented attitude.
