International Trade Finance and Investment Expert Consultant-Manager

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned International Trade Finance Consultant‑Manager to lead the promotion and delivery of our trade finance and investment solutions in a designated market. This remote, part‑time consultancy will combine strategic business development with deep expertise in trade finance instruments.

Key responsibilities

• Market and promote the company’s trade finance products and services in the assigned country.
• Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and secure new client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and banking standards.
• Manage budgets, oversee operational activities, and coordinate a local team of professionals.
• Generate leads through digital sales, social media platforms, and call‑center networks.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience (e.g., CEO, Founder, Director, Operations Head) in trade, commodities, logistics, or related sectors.
• Strong background in international trade finance or banking consultancy (minimum 3 years).
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, negotiate with stakeholders, and work independently.
• Familiarity with local legal and regulatory environments.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Letters of Credit (LC/DLC) and Bank Guarantees (BG).
• Experience with Standby Letters of Credit (SBLC), Proof of Funds (POF) and Bank Comfort Letters (BCL).
• Proficiency in SWIFT messaging formats MT760, MT799, MT700.
• Digital sales and marketing strategy implementation for lead generation.
