Vice President, Aviation Risk Management

About the role

Lesha Bank is seeking a Vice President to lead aviation risk management for its investment and financing activities. The role will provide independent risk oversight, assess credit and counter‑party exposures, and ensure compliance with the bank’s risk appetite and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, assess and monitor risks linked to aviation investments, aircraft assets, leasing activities and counterparties.
• Conduct independent risk assessments of proposed transactions and recommend actions to support investment decisions.
• Evaluate credit and counterparty risk of airlines, lessees and operators, and monitor asset‑value and residual‑value risk.
• Review lease structures, contractual arrangements and risk mitigants to ensure appropriate protection.
• Maintain risk dashboards and reports for senior management and investment committees, escalating breaches promptly.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in risk management, aviation finance, aircraft leasing or investment management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Aviation Management or related field; CFA, FRM or similar qualifications are a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication and reporting abilities with a detail‑oriented mindset.
