Inventory Controller – Warehouse Management

About the role

The Inventory Controller is responsible for executing the inventory management strategy, ensuring accurate master data, and maintaining optimal stock levels across the warehouse. The role works closely with procurement, engineering, and end‑user teams to drive cost‑saving initiatives and uphold best practices in inventory optimization.

Key responsibilities

• Create and amend material master data in SAP/EWM, ensuring compliance with data governance policies.
• Perform MRP tasks, monitor and rectify data variances, and maintain up‑to‑date master records.
• Monitor inventory levels, track stock movements, and implement inventory control procedures.
• Plan and execute physical inventory counts, analyze KPIs, and identify slow‑moving or excess stock.
• Collaborate with procurement and end‑user departments to develop action plans for stock‑out or overstock situations.
• Prepare accurate reports for management and ensure regulatory compliance in quality, health, safety, and environment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and support Qatarization initiatives.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant oil & gas warehouse experience.
• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong understanding of material master data, MRP, and inventory control concepts.
