IT Field Support Manager

About the role

Hamad International Airport is looking for an experienced IT Field Support Manager to lead its 24x7 technical support operations across the airport and related facilities. You will ensure that all end‑user infrastructure, passenger processing, security and digital systems remain reliable and secure, enabling smooth airport operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team delivering 24x7 on‑site customer support at HIA, DIA and other airport facilities.
• Maintain Service Level Agreements and high customer satisfaction for end‑user infrastructure and critical airport systems.
• Provide executive support on‑site and coordinate escalations to guarantee timely resolution.
• Mentor team members, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive continuous service quality improvement.
• Implement and enforce controls for IT endpoint infrastructure, ensuring compliance with patching standards and removal of non‑standard applications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in an airport or airline environment is desirable.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English.

Required skills

• ITIL Service Management knowledge.
• Understanding of ISO 20000 best practices.
• Project Management principles and processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft and CUTE products.
