Junior Procurement Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Procurement Officer to support our Procurement Department in managing materials, services, renovation works and maintenance requirements. The role ensures efficient, compliant and cost‑effective procurement across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Gather end‑user procurement needs, issue enquiries and source quotations from suitable vendors.
• Prepare quotation comparisons, negotiate terms where required and process contracts and purchase orders in line with company policies.
• Coordinate with suppliers to monitor delivery schedules, track order status and resolve any delays or discrepancies.
• Maintain procurement documentation such as invoices, delivery notes, contracts, warranty certificates and AMC records for audit readiness.
• Work with end users to generate accurate Goods Receipt Notes upon delivery or service completion.
• Monitor supplier performance, update vendor records and escalate issues to uphold service standards.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with ethical standards, company policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in procurement, sourcing or supply‑chain operations within real‑estate, property management, manufacturing or facilities management.
• Strong understanding of MEP materials and services, with the ability to interpret technical specifications and support cost‑effective negotiations.
